Ignacio Peña is a Puerto Rican singer-songwriter, producer, and multimedia creator whose innovative approach to music and storytelling has made him one of the island’s most distinctive voices. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Peña began his musical journey at an early age, developing a passion for rock, pop, and the art of songwriting. Peña rose to fame in the Latin market with the release of his debut album "El Mundo al Revés" in 2000 and the subsequent tour which saw him perform festivals in Argentina, Venezuela, Panama and the United State sharing the stage withe likes of Oasis, Roger Waters, Sting, No Doubt, Bryan Adams among others. Peña’s albums have garnered critical acclaim and are considered by many to be some of the best rock music to come out in Spanish establishing him as a leading figure in Latin alternative rock, earning critical acclaim for its intelligent lyrics, melodic strength, and cinematic production.

Throughout his career, Peña has balanced the craft of songwriting with a deep curiosity for science, technology, and education. His ambitious live production El Gran Debate del Planeta Tierra merges rock performance with immersive visuals to explore humanity’s scientific and technological evolution. The show has been presented in schools, theaters, and universities across Puerto Rico and the United States, inspiring a new generation to see science and music as interconnected forces of creativity and progress.
